Pork meatballs are a tasty traditional Italian dish. Ground pork is mixed with bread soaked in milk, eggs and a delicious combination of seasonings. The meatballs are then cooked in a flavorful tomato sauce. They are perfect served as an appetizer or as a main course.
Mix 800 g of ground pork with a bread roll soaked in milk and squeezed, one egg, salt and pepper
Make walnut-sized meatballs and fry them in butter
Drain them and keep warm
Sauté in 2 tablespoons of oil the chopped mixture of one carrot, one onion, one stalk of celery, a sprig of parsley and a pinch of oregano
Add 300 g of tomato pulp and simmer for 15 minutes
Season with salt and pepper and add a tablespoon of flour diluted in half a glass of milk
Bring to a boil and pour the sauce over the hot meatballs
