
Ricotta cannelloni are a classic of Italian cuisine. This dish uses egg cannelloni filled with a delicious mixture of ricotta, spinach, cooked ham and grated Parmesan cheese. Everything is then gratinated in the oven with a tasty béchamel. The recipe is simple to prepare but requires a bit of time. Cook the spinach for 10 minutes with a knob of butter and a little salt.
Add the ricotta to the spinach along with 2 tablespoons of Parmesan, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Fill the cannelloni with the mixture and arrange them in a baking dish, cover with the béchamel, scatter the ham over them and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
