Rigatoni with basil is a simple and tasty first course typical of Italian cuisine. The recipe uses rigatoni, fresh tomatoes, basil, breadcrumbs and olive oil. This dish is perfect for a quick but flavorful dinner.
Cook the rigatoni in boiling salted water and toss them with plenty of olive oil, half of the chopped basil and one tablespoon of breadcrumbs
In a baking dish put a little oil, a layer of sliced tomatoes, the chopped basil, oil, salt and a layer of pasta; continue until the ingredients are used up
Bake for about 45 minutes and serve hot
