
Rustic Bites are a delicious appetizer typical of Italian cuisine. Made with frozen puff pastry, chicken livers, dried plums, and a mix of aromatic herbs, these bites are irresistible. Coarsely chop the liver and sauté it in a little butter with some sage and marjoram leaves, sprinkle with two tablespoons of flour and mix
Sprinkle with a bit of Marsala and let evaporate
Pour in the cream, add salt and pepper
Let it flavor for about ten minutes
In the meantime, roll out the defrosted puff pastry and cut it into eighteen squares
Distribute the mixture in the center of each along with a pitted dried plum
Close and form bites, sealing the edges well with the beaten yolk
Brown in the oven at 200 degrees for about twenty minutes and serve
