
Shrimp with Avocado and Lime Sauce
A tantalizing and very tasty appetizer, easy to prepare. The shrimp are marinated with lime juice, oil, salt, and pepper, and served with a voluptuous and enveloping sauce made with avocado, lime juice, and creamy spreadable cheese.
Ingredients
- Shrimp or prawns
20g20g - Cream cheese
150g150g - Ripe avocados
2units2units - Lime
2units2units - Pomegranate seeds (optional)to taste
- Wild fennelto taste
- Extra virgin olive oilto taste
- Saltto taste
- Pepperto taste
Preparation

Rinse the shrimp under cold running water and remove the shell and vein. Set aside 4 with the head for the final decoration.

Blanch the shrimp in boiling water for a few minutes, then drain them.

Season the shrimp with the juice of 1 lime, a drizzle of oil, and a grind of pepper. Let marinate for 30 minutes.

Cut the avocados, remove the pits, and collect the pulp in a bowl.

Drizzle the pulp with the juice of the second lime and season with salt, oil, and pepper. Continue to mix.

Add the creamy spreadable cheese and incorporate it perfectly.

Distribute the marinated shrimp inside 4 glasses, keeping aside those with the heads.

Collect the avocado sauce in a piping bag and distribute it over the shrimp, forming peaks.

Finish with the last shrimp, a few pomegranate seeds, a slice of lime, and a sprig of wild fennel.
