Spezzatino is a delicious traditional Italian dish made with beef, vegetables and white wine. The meat is cut into small pieces and simmered together with the vegetables until tender and succulent. This dish is perfect to enjoy during the colder months of the year, as it provides warmth and comfort.
Make a chopped mixture with half an onion, half a carrot and one stalk of celery (more or less for four people or three meals)
Put it in a pan with a little olive oil and butter and sauté it a bit (until it takes some color and lightly browns), then add 300-400 g of beef cut into pieces and a glass of white wine
When it is almost cooked, taste and add 2-3 potatoes, also cut into pieces, a glass of water if there is little sauce, one tablespoon of tomato paste and a bit of bouillon
Pepper and salt can be added to taste
