
Tomatoes with Tuna
Tomatoes with tuna are a tasty summer side dish that is very simple and quick to prepare. Round tomatoes are hollowed out and stuffed with a delicious tuna in oil sauce flavored with chopped spring onion and parsley. To complete the dish, a bit of breadcrumbs is sprinkled on top and it is seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Preparation

Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the seeds and some of the pulp

Salt them inside, turn them upside down and let them drain; wash and dry them

Boil the potatoes and then cut them into pieces, add the shredded tuna, chopped parsley, and spring onion

Fill the tomato halves with the mixture

Grease the bottom of a baking dish with a little oil, place the tomatoes in it, drizzle with a little oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs

Bake for about half an hour at 200 degrees
