
Tuna crostini are a delicious Mediterranean-flavored appetizer. Made with canned tuna, juicy cherry tomatoes, aromatic shallots, and fresh lemon, they are perfect to serve on any occasion. The crispy bread and extra virgin olive oil complement this tasty recipe.












Drain the oil from the tuna; crumble it and place it in a bowl
Finely slice the shallots
Cut the lemon in half, slice one half very thinly and squeeze the juice from the other half
Add to the tuna the shallots, lemon slices, and the juice passed through a strainer along with four tablespoons of oil
Gently mix in the skinned diced tomatoes and a few basil leaves
Cut the bread into slices, toast them, and spread the tuna mixture on top
