Boil the peeled and diced potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes
Then drain them and mash them with a potato masher, collecting them in a bowl
Blend the tuna with its preserving oil and add it to the potatoes, then add the egg and a bit of flour to better bind the mixture
Form flat patties, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry them in plenty of hot oil

Store the tuna patties in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for up to 2 days.
Tuna patties are great to enjoy hot or cold.
