
Venetian-Style Sea Bream
Venetian-Style Sea Bream is a delicacy of Venetian cuisine, made with fresh sea bream marinated in lemon juice and flavored with garlic, anchovy fillets, parsley, capers, and oregano. It is then cooked in a pan with olive oil, white wine, peeled tomatoes, black olives, and spices. The result is a tasty main course with a Mediterranean flavor.

Preparation

Scale and open the fish, wash it, dry it, salt it inside and out, place it on a plate, pepper it, and drizzle with lemon juice, letting it rest for 30 minutes

Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic with the anchovy fillets, parsley, and capers, place this mixture in a saucepan, pour half a glass of oil over it, and sauté over low heat; after about 10 minutes, add half of the white wine, and as soon as it evaporates, add the tomatoes, crushing them with a fork; let the sauce thicken over high heat for a few minutes, then add the olives, which you have pitted and chopped
