

Wheat tortillas are a very versatile Mexican specialty that can be used in many recipes. They are thin and soft, ideal for wrapping and filling with delicious ingredients. Additionally, they are easy to make at home and can be stored for several days.
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder, taking care to mix well
Add the melted butter and continue mixing until you obtain a homogeneous mixture
Gradually add the lukewarm water until the dough becomes soft
Let rest for 15 minutes
Divide the dough into 12 balls and roll each one on a floured surface, flattening them with your hands until you obtain a circle about 18 cm in diameter with even edges
Cook in a cast-iron skillet for 1 minute per side
The tortillas should have a nice golden color
