Wheat tortillas are thin sheets of wheat dough that can be filled with various ingredients. They are a very versatile appetizer enjoyed worldwide, but particularly common in Mexican cuisine.

Mix the flour with warm salted water
Work it on the work surface until it no longer sticks to your hands, form a dough ball and let it rest for 15 minutes
Divide it into 12 portions, roll each into a ball and roll them out on a floured surface until you obtain discs about 15 cm in diameter
Cook the tortillas 1 minute per side on a hot cast-iron griddle and wrap them in aluminum foil as you go to keep them warm
Pan
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
Wheat tortillas can be served with sauces and condiments as desired
