Clean the asparagus, cut them into pieces, reserve the tender tips and boil in salted water
Once cooked, drain them
Meanwhile, sauté the crushed garlic in the oil, stir in the flour avoiding lumps, dilute with water or broth, add the tough parts of the asparagus, season with salt and pepper and cook over moderate heat for about half an hour
Pass through a sieve and return to the heat, adding the boiled tips
