The Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Mandarin is produced from Nocellara del Belìce olives mixed with freshly harvested Sicilian citrus fruits and processed together through cold extraction to best preserve its taste and aromas. The resulting oil is allowed to rest for four months for “refinement” in steel silos under nitrogen before bottling. The flavor of the Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Mandarin is moderately spicy, with a fresh hint of mandarin, excellent for seasoning fish, crudités, cold cuts, and Mediterranean salads.
