Denomination: Chianti DOCG Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese Name: Puro Alcohol: 13.5° Format: 0.75L Production area: Pontassieve (FI), Tuscany, Italy Description: Vinification is done in a traditional way, manual harvesting of the grapes, maceration, and fermentation in steel at controlled temperature for about 8 days. After malolactic fermentation, which occurs very quickly due to the absence of sulfites, the wine is racked and kept at a temperature of 10°. The aging in steel is for about 6 months, then in the bottle to maintain all its freshness and integrity. The color is intense and bright purplish red. On the nose, youthful aromas of freshly pressed blackberry, strawberry, and violet. On the palate it is fresh, juicy, and crisp, an explosion of fruit with evident notes of cherry, with a finish of good persistence. Recommended pairing with appetizers, meat-based first courses or risottos, white meats, and fresh cheeses. Recommended temperature: 16-18° C.
