Second denomination obtainable from the vinification of the Nebbiolo variety, this wine comes from vineyards located in the municipalities of Neive and Treiso. In appearance, it presents a ruby red color with garnet reflections, due to aging in large oak barrels. On the nose, it is characterized by hints of small red fruits with a pronounced spicy note reminiscent of black pepper. On the palate, it is full and well-balanced with a tannic finish that gives it excellent persistence in the mouth. GRAPE VARIETY Nebbiolo VINEYARD Hilly areas at an altitude between 250-310 meters above sea level, with exposure ranging from East to Southeast. CULTIVATION Traditional with Guyot pruning. AGING The Barbaresco ages for 26 months, of which at least 9 in large French oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle. ORGANOLAPTIC CHARACTERISTICS Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, the bouquet is spicy, intense, and persistent. On the palate, it is dry, full, robust, austere, velvety, and harmonious.
