Founded in 1920 in Bomporto, in the province of Modena, the Francesco Bellei winery bases its company philosophy on the practice of traditional winemaking, with natural fermentation in the bottle. A passion for wine and a great ability to understand and taste it have led the winery to produce, in addition to the traditional Lambrusco, other sparkling wines using the Metodo Classico, creating labels of the highest quality. A limited and meticulously detailed production has made Francesco Bellei a reference company today, in Italy and abroad, for the production of Metodo Classico sparkling wines. The Quality Sparkling Wine Cuvée Brut Blanc de Noirs by Francesco Bellei is the result of years of experience and commitment to excellence in the Metodo Classico. It is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in vineyards near the Secchia and Panaro rivers, in the Modenese municipalities of Bomporto and San Prospero. This limited production sparkling wine is fermented in small stainless steel containers with only the free-run juice, followed by fermentation in the bottle and aging on its own lees for at least 48 months. In the glass, it presents as a white wine with coppery hues and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals a delicate aroma of wild berries, particularly blackberries and raspberries. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with a pleasant expressive character. Perfect as an aperitif, this sparkling wine pairs well with appetizers, seafood dishes, and fruit-based courses.
