Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a red wine that represents the strong and ancient winemaking tradition of Sicily. This wine combines the power of Nero d'Avola with the delicacy of Frappato, a grape variety mainly found in the Denomination area, which is also the first and only Sicilian DOCG. Cerasuolo di Vittoria comes from the Stidda vineyard, located in Chiaramonte Gulfi, at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level. The calcareous-clay soil and the temperate Mediterranean climate contribute to giving the wine unique characteristics. The non-irrigated vineyard produces a limited yield of no more than 50 quintals per hectare. This wine is distinguished by its intense color that allows exploration of every nuance in the glass. On the nose, notes of earth and raspberries can be perceived, while on the palate, an enveloping taste of dark chocolate is felt. With an alcohol content of 13%, Cerasuolo di Vittoria is recommended to be served at a temperature of 16-18°C.
