Quater Vitis rosso Firriato encapsulates the Sicily of wine in a glass and is a blend of grapes of Nero d'Avola, Perricone, and Frappato grown on the estate of Pianoro Cuddìa, while the Nerello Cappuccio is grown in the Estate of Cavanera at about 680 m.a.s.l. on Etna. It comes from four different vintages and as many winemaking processes carried out separately to enhance the characteristics of each individual variety. The maturation of each single wine occurs in American and French oak barriques for a maximum period of 10 months. The different types of wood contribute boisé notes. The best cuvées that are obtained are blended to create this wine that harmonically enhances the aromas of red fruit of Nero d'Avola, the freshness of Frappato, the spicy notes of Nerello Cappuccio, and the elegance of Perricone.
