The AMareIlPianeta box is born from a friendly collaboration with the esteemed painter Antonella Natalis, known as Italianmarinepainter, who is deeply connected to the sea and its landscapes. The featured artwork "Coltiviamo il nostro mare" was presented in 2015 at the Expo Arte Italiana event, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, who immediately recognized in the painting the extraordinary ability to convey the artist's message, always very sensitive to the theme of safeguarding marine ecosystems. With her work, the artist proposes a vision in which the sea, like a wheat field, must be cultivated with care and order, instead of being abandoned to decay and treated like a landfill. The products inside the box have been selected because when you combine them to create this recipe, you will obtain the base of a truly tasty and versatile vegetable seasoning. Let's see how to prepare it together: 1. Prepare a simple sauté with Gentili organic extra virgin olive oil, and garlic and chili pepper, if you like. 2. Add Salvatonno® natural and let it flavor for a few minutes. 3. Also add Salina DOP capers and if necessary, adjust with salt and a pinch of pepper. 4. Before serving, garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. This seasoning is excellent on pasta, bruschetta, pizza, and by the spoonful, for the more indulgent! You will see that it will win you over, as it did with us! We decided to include Salvatonno® natural precisely for the theme of safeguarding fauna, opting for a tasty vegetable alternative, even for the most skeptical, but above all without violence for the inhabitants of the marine ecosystem. The organic extra virgin olive oil from Frantoio Gentili, in the province of Viterbo, has the characteristic that, in addition to coming from organic farming, powered 100% by renewable energy, it is enclosed in 100% recyclable packaging, because both the glass bottle and the plastic label, as well as the metal cap, can be disposed of in the appropriate recycling collection. The Salina DOP capers from Boniviri BCorp come from sustainable agriculture not only from an environmental point of view but also economically, as it supports a small farm born on the island of the same name, in the Aeolian Islands, off the coast of Sicily, particularly known for tuna fishing. Furthermore, Boniviri has always been attentive to the protection of biodiversity and the local companies with which it collaborates. Finally, this box represents a beautiful moment of collaboration among women, including food photographer Mariana Moreira. I am sure this box will be a welcome gift for those who, like us, love the Planet and want to preserve it through small daily gestures.
