

A delicious beer cake, soft and tasty, perfect for any occasion. It can be served plain or topped with lightly sweetened whipped cream.
With electric whisks, work the softened butter with the sugar for a few minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to mix.
Combine the vanilla, sour cream, a pinch of salt and the beer.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and cocoa, then add them to the mixture.
Pour the batter into a 24 cm cake pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 60 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check the cooking.
Remove the cake and let it cool completely.
Serve the cake plain or garnished with lightly sweetened whipped cream.
