1994 Hausbier is the Keller inspired by Franconia signed by Birrificio Sabino (Poggio Mirteto, Rieti, Lazio): a bottom fermentation that reproduces the great balance and freshness of the best examples from Franconia. 5% vol., in a 33cl can — to be served in a biconical glass or mug between 4 and 6°C. Pale, with a fine and compact foam. On the nose, notes of raw grain, white flowers, and honey that are also distinctly found on the palate. The body is soft and smooth, completed by a slightly bitter finish that always invites the next sip — bready, honeyed, floral, herbal. It pairs well with cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, mixed fried foods, white pizzas, cheese focaccia, and summer salads.
