Description
The Maerzen-Oktoberfestbier style may be a staple of Teutonic tradition, but we proudly remember that the oldest brewery in Munich was founded by Italian monks. To toast this unexpected connection, in the true popular spirit of Oktoberfest, RENAZZENFEST is born, the Maerzenbier in an Italian version. More alcoholic than its cousin Helles, RENAZZENFEST is a dark golden beer, full-bodied and dominated by intense notes of honey with a slight fruity taste reminiscent of ripe figs. The hops remain in the background, but the peculiar characteristics of lightness and soft bitterness of this beer still reveal its noble origin. The low fermentation and long maturation round off the elegance of this Oktoberfest-Maerzen, proudly returned to its Italian roots.
