
Swell from the English brewery Wold Top is a true gem for lovers of barrel-aged beers. This Barley Wine has been meticulously produced for aging, with a recipe developed to harmoniously blend with the aromas of the barrels. Rich and fruity, Swell is an explosion of intense and layered flavors. It spent 11 months in a selection of barrels from the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, where it absorbed the nuances of whisky (one of the barrels was from Pedro Ximenez), red wine, and bourbon. As suggested by the Barley Wine style, Swell is indeed more than a beer.
