For this beer, the producer from Molise drew inspiration from the style most common today in the Czech Republic, locally called Světlé Výčepní Pivo, a pale lager with a low fermentation of around 4% alcohol, produced with typically Czech malts and hops. Bohemia is a land famous for hop cultivation for centuries, and Zlaty Boy encapsulates its herbal, spicy, floral, and slightly lemony aromas thanks to the Kazbek variety.
