The Cinta Senese Crostino from the Il Poggio farm is produced without preservatives, colorants, and artificial flavors. The meat used is Cinta Senese, an Italian pig breed originating from the Montagnola Senese. The very strong and bold taste recalls the typical flavors of Tuscan culinary tradition. The peculiarities of the sauces are the top-quality meats and traditional recipes. The sauces are prepared with a cooking base of finely chopped fresh vegetables (onion, celery, carrot, etc.). Once the vegetables are wilted, the meat is added for the first cooking. The minced meats finish cooking slowly with the addition of wine, tomatoes from our garden, and other ingredients. The very long cooking times give a strong and balanced flavor, ensuring an excellent, absolutely homemade quality.
