
Hazelnut and Orange Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
- All-purpose flour
300g300g - Brown sugar
150g150g - Sunflower oil
120mL120mL - Coarsely chopped hazelnuts
30units30units - Grated orange zestTo taste
- Cinnamon
1teaspoon1teaspoon - Egg1 whole plus one yolk
- SaltTo taste
Preparation

Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the orange zest, cinnamon, and mix.

Incorporate the oil and hazelnuts. Finally, add the flour gradually to better control the dough's consistency.

Once you have a dough that can be handled with your hands, form it into a ball. Let it rest in the fridge for at least half an hour, then roll it out with a rolling pin.

Roll to a thickness of about half a centimeter and cut out the cookies in your preferred shape.

Place them on baking sheets lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with sugar (optional), and bake at 180 degrees for about 15/20 minutes. Static oven, middle rack.

Once ready and slightly cooled, finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
