Small bites crispy on the outside and creamy inside, made with chickpeas and Delicate Mixed Caciotta. Perfect as an appetizer, aperitif, or finger food, served with sauces of your choice!
In a food processor, blend the chickpeas with the egg, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Transfer to a bowl, add the Delicate Mixed Caciotta cut into small cubes and 80g of breadcrumbs; mix well.
Shape into oval meatballs (nuggets), then coat them in breadcrumbs.
Heat plenty of seed oil in a pan and fry the nuggets a few at a time until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve hot, accompanied by ketchup, Parmesan mayonnaise, or yogurt sauce.
To accompany
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
