Lemons for Research is a project by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi carried out in exclusive partnership with CITRUS. Through the sale of special nets available in major Italian supermarkets, the project has the dual objective of promoting the nutritional benefits of lemons and raising funds to support scientific research in the field of nutrigenomics, a science that studies the relationship between the genome and diet. For every 500g net of lemons (Primofiore variety), 0.40 cents are donated to Fondazione Umberto Veronesi to fund excellent researchers.
