Description
Barone Pizzini Franciacorta Naturae is a wine derived from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, it is a Franciacorta with a distinct personality and a very important acidic structure. The grapes that make up this Franciacorta come from vineyards located at higher altitudes to preserve acidity during ripening and to obtain sparkling bases with perfect characteristics for producing vintage wines that can stand the test of time. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are harvested around mid-August and brought to the winery for a gentle pressing, the musts ferment in steel tanks and barriques where they remain for 6 months before blending. The blending or cuvée phase precedes the bottling of the base wine with the addition of sugar and yeasts that will lead to the second fermentation in the bottle and thus allow the appearance of the bubbles typical of Franciacorta wines. Barone Pizzini Franciacorta Naturae remains in the bottle at rest for 30-40 months before disgorgement and market release.
