Frappato Tenute Orestiadi

Frappato Tenute Orestiadi is a wine produced with Frappato grapes grown in the Belice Valley area in Sicily, in the municipality of Gibellina in Sicily. The vineyards where Nero d'Avola is cultivated have volcanic origin soils which, together with favorable climatic conditions, allow the grapes to reach a perfect state of ripeness every year. The Frappato is harvested and brought to the winery for crushing, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of about 25-27°C for about 15 days during which remontages and delestages are repeated to extract aromas and polyphenols from the skins. Subsequently, the Frappato Tenute Orestiadi wine is separated from the skins and aged in French oak barrels for about 18 months before blending and bottling. Pairings: Spaghetti alla Norma, semi-aged cheeses, mixed grilled meats, baked lamb, sun-dried tomato pâté. Storage: Store at 16-18°C Alcohol content: 13.5% Vintage: 2022 Denomination: Terre Siciliane IGP Aging: In wood for 18 months.
