Description
The grated mullet bottarga Smeralda is a product rich in proteins and Omega 3, obtained from the eggs of the mullet or grey mullet. Mullet bottarga has an amber color and a strong flavor reminiscent of the sea. The bottarga is extracted whole by the company Mare Puro in Sicily, and is excellent finely sprinkled on fish pasta, on vegetables accompanied by a fine glass of sparkling wine.
