Description
Livio Felluga Sharis is a wine born from the blend of very different grape varieties that result in a particularly balanced wine, Ribolla Gialla and Chardonnay, a native and an international variety, almost as if to bring Friuli to the rest of the world. The grapes, harvested separately, are destemmed and pressed after a brief skin maceration; the musts are clarified through decantation and inoculated with selected yeasts. The alcoholic fermentation lasts about 20 days at 16°C, and Livio Felluga Sharis remains on the lees for about 6 months during which batonages are repeatedly performed to soften and enrich the product. After blending and bottling, Livio Felluga Sharis remains in the cellar for at least two months before commercialization. Pairings: Sharis Livio Felluga is a wine suitable to be consumed as an aperitif or paired with fish appetizers, even raw, excellent with soups and vegetable purees, or with first and second courses based on fish that are not overly spiced.
