Livio Felluga Sharis

Category: Wine•Region: Friuli Venezia Giulia•Sold by: FoodExplore•Shipped by: FoodExplore

Livio Felluga Sharis is a wine born from the blend of very different grape varieties that produce a particularly balanced wine: Ribolla Gialla and Chardonnay, a native and an international grape variety, almost as if to bring Friuli to the rest of the world. The grapes, harvested separately, are destemmed and pressed after a brief skin maceration. The musts are clarified by decantation and inoculated with selected yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about 20 days at 16°C, and Livio Felluga Sharis remains on the lees for about 6 months during which batonnage is repeatedly performed to soften and enrich the product. After blending and bottling, Livio Felluga Sharis rests in the cellar for at least two months before commercialization. Pairings: Sharis Livio Felluga is suitable to be consumed as an aperitif or paired with fish appetizers, even raw, excellent with soups and vegetable purees, or with first and second courses based on fish that is not excessively spiced. Storage: Store at 16-18°C Alcohol content: 12.5% Vintage: 2023 Aging: In steel.
