Mazèr Valtellina Superiore DOCG Nino Negri is a wine born from the skillful blending of wines from the famous subzones of Valtellina. Mazèr in Valtellina dialect means beautiful and generous, which perfectly describes this product. The Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes are harvested and vinified at different times depending on the proper ripening of each subzone. The red vinification takes place afterwards, while a small part of the grapes is dried and vinified later. After blending, the Mazèr Valtellina Superiore DOCG Nino Negri wine rests in barriques and large barrels of 30HL and 50HL for 20 months before the final blending and bottling.
