Monte Alto Franciacorta Rosè

Immerse yourself in the refined and deep flavor of Monte Alto Franciacorta Rosè, a distinctive product from the renowned Monte Alto winery located in Clusane, in the heart of the Franciacorta wine region, on the shores of Lake Iseo. This prestigious wine originates from vineyards positioned on the northeast slope of Monte Alto, directly overlooking the lake. This privileged position, along with the limestone soils and a unique microclimate, makes the area ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir. Monte Alto Franciacorta Extra Rosè was created with the intent to combine the depth and structure of Pinot Noir, fully expressing the character of its region of origin. The grapes are hand-harvested at the beginning of September and brought to the winery for gentle pressing. The resulting musts are then divided between first and second pressings and fermented partly in steel and partly in third and fourth passage wood. After fermentation, the Franciacorta wines remain on the lees until the spring following the harvest, before being assembled and bottled with the addition of sugar and yeast to allow for the second fermentation inside the bottle, which will create the bubbles. After resting for at least 19 months in the bottle, Monte Alto Franciacorta Rosè is disgorged and made available on the market, ready to delight wine lovers with its unique qualities. Pairings: Monte Alto Franciacorta Rosè is a wine to be enjoyed throughout the meal, excellent with seafood and lake appetizers. It also pairs perfectly with fish-based first courses and tempura. Excellent with aged hard cheese like Parmigiano Reggiano. Storage: Store at 16-18°C Alcohol content: 12.5% Vintage: 2019 Designation: Franciacorta DOCG Aging: In bottle for 19 months.
