Pinot Grigio Alturis is a wine produced by the Alturis winery in Friuli from the Pinot Grigio grape variety. The Pinot Grigio grapes are grown in the plains and hills of the area in front of Cividale del Friuli. The grapes are harvested and brought to the winery around the first ten days of September and gently pressed. The must ferments in enamelled cement tanks at a temperature of about 18°C for 15 days, allowing the yeasts to express the aromatic potential of the Pinot Grigio variety. In the spring following the harvest, Pinot Grigio Alturis is blended and bottled. Pairings: Friulano Alturis is particularly suitable for fish-based appetizers, dry first courses or vegetable creams, boiled fish, or cold white meats. Storage: Store at 16-18°C.
