Cultivation area: Zac 2016 is produced at the Villa Le Corti Estate, located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. The grapes come from the Gugliaie vineyard, characterized by soils rich in skeleton and river pebbles, which give the wine aromatic intensity and structure. Cultivation practices: The company adopts organic farming methods and is certified Vegan & Bio, ensuring a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. Denomination: Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Grape variety and technical characteristics: Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese. Vinification: Fermentation in open truncated conical steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C for a period of 16 days. Aging: 18 months mainly in used barriques, followed by 12 months in bottle. Alcohol content: 15%. Tasting notes: Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Aroma: Complex aromas of ripe red fruit, such as black cherry and plum, accompanied by notes of sweet spices, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla.
