Description: The winemaking is done in a traditional way, manual harvesting of grapes, fermentation and maceration at controlled temperature for about 30 days. Aging in oak barrels for about 24 months, then in bottle for about 12 months. The color is intense ruby red. On the nose deep notes of sweet spices. In the mouth it is warm and austere, deep and enveloping, invigorated at the finish by an unexpected freshness. Recommended pairing with meat-based first courses or risottos, red meats, roasts, grilled dishes, braised dishes and well-aged cheeses. Recommended temperature: 18-20° C.
