Denomination: Greco di Tufo DOCG Grape Variety: 100% Greco Name: Greco di Tufo Alcohol: 13° Volume: 0.75L Production Area: Sant'Angelo All'Esca (AV), Campania, Italy Description: The grapes come from the hilly areas of the Greco di Tufo DOCG region. Like Fiano di Avellino, it is one of the few white wines that maintain their quality even with aging. Known since Roman times. Its ancestry dates back to the ancient "Aminea Gemini" introduced from the Greek region of Thessaly during the times of Magna Graecia. Highly appreciated also in Roman times (it is mentioned in a fresco of Pompeii) and in the Middle Ages. The grapes are hand-picked in the early days of October, and the fermentation of the clear must takes place at a low temperature for about 10/15 days. The aging is done in steel and then 2 months in the bottle. The color is straw yellow with golden hues. On the nose, there are intense floral and fruity aromas. On the palate, it is energetic and well-structured thanks to the significant acidic charge. Recommended pairing with rich fish dishes, seafood, white meats and poultry, with various types of salads and cheeses. Recommended temperature: 8-10° C
