The aging in oak barrels of 35 hl for about 12 months, then in bottle for at least 6 months. The color is intense and bright ruby red. On the nose notes of underbrush and small berries, the bouquet is accompanied by notes of dry rose and violet. On the palate it is dry, sapid, but with soft and compact tannins, notes of moderately toasted spices and leather give a sense of fullness, a finish of good persistence with a nice acidity that characterizes the area of Rufina. Suggested pairing with meat first courses or risottos, red meats, roasts, grilled dishes, braised dishes and well-aged cheeses. Recommended temperature: 16-18° C.
