Blitz. There are more and more breweries producing an Italian Pils, which means the recipe of a classic pale Lager of German style enriched with more evident herbal, floral, citrus, and spicy scents. The version from Podere La Berta is also slightly hazy, in fact the label reads "Italian Keller Pils". A beer that has its strength in the balance between the malty fragrance (crackers, bread crust) and the floral and herbal aromas of the Saaz and Saphir hops, the latter used in dry hopping. The finish is bitter without half measures, as the local school desires.
