Pineau des Charentes (DOC) is a mistelle, which is a grape must where the alcoholic fermentation is stopped by adding Cognac. Originating from the Charentes region, known for Cognac production, Pineau des Charentes is created by combining two-thirds grape must and one-third Cognac aged in French oak barrels. Only Cognac winegrower-distillers, known as "Bouilleurs de Cru," are authorized to produce it. We present to you Pineau des Charentes Blanc, a nectar with an unexpected and generous taste. Terroir: clay-limestone soil with an oceanic climate. Grapes: Colombar and Ugni Blanc. In the cellar: the white grape juice macerates in oak barrels for at least 24 months, with the addition of Cognac aged for at least 2 years.
