Orma Bolgheri, the Toscana Rosso Orma, originates from vineyards located along the Via Bolgherese, in the Livorno municipality of Castagneto Carducci. It is the result of a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grapes, which ferment for 21 days, with skin contact, in steel at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C. The wine ages for 12 months in partly new French oak barrels and for an additional 12 months in glass. It is characterized by a purple-red color with violet reflections. Intriguing on the nose, it develops around notes of berries, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it reveals itself as soft and silky, with spicy notes and ripe red fruit.
