
Baked Penne with Italian Sausage
This baked penne recipe is easy to prepare with Italian sausage, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese for a hearty and delicious evening meal.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the penne and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 11 minutes; drain.

Heat the oil in a large deep skillet. Add the sausage and onion; cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain excess fat.

Pour the wine into the skillet and bring to a boil, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon.

Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Mix with the cooked penne and transfer to a 23x33 cm baking dish.
