Produced in the olive groves in Valle di Mezzane, in the municipalities of Mezzane di Sotto and Illasi, on the eastern hills of the province of Verona. This valley is a particularly unique climatic treasure ideal for oil production: a substrate of marl and sandstones, unspoiled nature, a closed valley that maintains consistently controlled temperatures throughout the year with excellent temperature variations, especially during the fruit ripening period. This type of oil is named Francesco and is mainly composed of Grignano variety olives and a small percentage of Maurino variety (10-20%). This oil is emerald green in color, with a medium fruity scent and a taste of arugula and slightly bitter herbs, wildflowers with a slight citrus aroma. Persistent and harmonious, it has a slight bitterness that diminishes over time.
