Crispy breading made from oats (SWEE-THY product), ideal for chicken or tofu, prepared for airfryer cooking. Lactose-free, great for meal prep and for those looking for a 'crunch' effect.

Coarsely chop the oats in a food processor until you get a crumbly granola (not fine powder).
Season the chicken slices or tofu pieces with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the chosen spices, massaging to make them adhere.
Dredge the oiled slices in the crumbly oat granola, pressing lightly so the breading sticks well.
For a saltier version: mix paprika, pepper, and a pinch of salt into the crumbly granola before coating.
Arrange the breaded slices in a single layer in the airfryer basket, without overlapping them.
Cook in the airfryer at 180–200°C for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy to your liking.
Serve hot. If made in advance, store in the refrigerator and reheat in the airfryer to maintain crispiness.

Suitable for meal prep: the breading maintains good crispiness when reheated in the airfryer. Recommended product: SWEE-THY oat flakes. For an even crispier breading, add a tablespoon of seeds (e.g. flaxseed or sesame) to the crumbly granola.
