Bella Lodi Riserva Oro from the Bella Lodi dairy is an incredible lactose-free cheese! Typical of the Lodi area, it has a white paste, an intense aroma, and a delicious taste that everyone will love. Absolutely everyone, thanks to its high digestibility. Riserva Oro is Bella Lodi aged for a minimum of 24 months after careful selection of the best wheels. Unlike the classic black rind version, this important cheese has a gold rind to emphasize its prestige and value. It is drier, crumbly, and grainy, with a stronger yet still pleasant flavor. A naturally lactose-free cheese Bella Lodi is naturally lactose-free. Thanks to the careful selection of lactic ferments used in its production (a unique selection by the company in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture of the Catholic University of Milan), during the fermentation and aging process, the lactose present is transformed into lactic acid by the same ferments. Bella Lodi: a certified and controlled supply chain The milk to create a wheel of Bella Lodi is collected sustainably, as it comes only from nearby farms, in the Lodi and Crema areas. Bella Lodi is a cheese of the highest quality also because it is made with certified milk from a restricted and well-defined area of origin.
