Lactose-free mozzarella is made with the lactose-free milk from our buffaloes, lactose-free milk, salt, and rennet. The milk is the same used to produce traditional buffalo mozzarella, which is why the flavor is identical. The difference occurs in the production phase where the milk is lactose-free. The need to produce mozzarella without lactose arises to allow lactose-intolerant individuals to consume mozzarella, or dishes composed of it, but not only! It is also indicated for those who frequently and excessively consume dairy products. It is available in round, aversana, bocconcini, bite-sized pieces, or in braid form, starting from a minimum of 100g up to a maximum of 3 kg, available exclusively by order. To enjoy it at its best, during particularly cold periods, since mozzarella expresses its aromas best when consumed at a temperature of around 28-30°C, we recommend gently heating it in the microwave at 600 watts for about 15 seconds or, if desired, immersing it with the entire bag in warm water for about 15 minutes. Origin of the milk: Italy.
