Lactose-free mozzarella is made with the lactose-free milk from our buffaloes, lactose-free milk, salt, and rennet. The milk is the same used to produce traditional buffalo mozzarella, which is why the flavor is identical. The difference occurs during production where the milk is treated to remove lactose. The need to produce lactose-free mozzarella arises to allow lactose-intolerant individuals to consume mozzarella or dishes made from it, but not only! It is also recommended for those who frequently and excessively consume dairy products. It is available in round, aversana, bite-sized pieces, cubes, or braided form, starting from a minimum of 100g up to a maximum of 3 kg, available exclusively by order. To enjoy it best, especially in particularly cold periods, as mozzarella expresses its aromas best when consumed at a temperature of around 28-30°C, we recommend gently warming it in the microwave at 600 watts for about 15 seconds or, if desired, immersing it with the entire bag in warm water for about 15 minutes. Milk origin: Italy.
