Lactose-free mozzarella is made with milk from our lactose-free buffaloes, lactose-free milk, salt, and rennet. The milk is the same used to produce traditional buffalo mozzarella, which is why the flavor remains identical. The difference occurs during production, where the milk is treated to remove lactose. The need to produce lactose-free mozzarella arises to allow people with lactose intolerance to consume mozzarella or dishes made from it, but not only! It is also suitable for those who frequently and excessively consume dairy products. It is available in round shape, aversana, bocconcini, bocconi, or braid, starting from a minimum of 100g up to a maximum of 3 kg, available exclusively upon order. To enjoy it best, during particularly cold periods, since mozzarella expresses its aromas best when consumed at around 28-30°C, we recommend gently warming it in the microwave at 600 watts for about 15 seconds or, if desired, immersing it with the entire bag in lukewarm water for about 15 minutes. Milk origin: Italy.
